Merger is just the job for recruitment giants
TWO OF THE logistics industry's major executive recruitment specialists, BiS and George Henderson, have merged after seven months of planning to form BiS Henderson.
The new company says the aim of the merger is to create a firm that is big enough to "invest and grow through the economic downturn rather than batten down the hatches".
BiS Henderson CEO Andy Kaye says: "The combined strength of BiS and George Henderson will now offer clients and candidates alike an unparalleled level of experience, service and technical expertise in the supply chain and logistics sector.
Mark Botham, the former managing director of George Henderson and now newly appointed chief operating officer, adds: "The merger has been planned over the past seven months and stems from both companies' desires to create a customer-centric recruitment service for clients and candidates.
