Bartley barred • Dudley-based Bartley Green Plant Hire's licence for six vehicles and two trailers was revoked when the company failed to appear before West Midland DC Gerrard Sullivan at a Birmingham disciplinary inquiry.
Shorter time • Board Brothers Contractors, of Pentyrch, whose licence was suspended in May while their vehicles were put through another MoT test, has had its licence cut at a Cardiff public inquiry to expire in 12 months.
Card warned • Cardiff tipper operator James Card's licence has been renewed, with a warning about maintenance standards. He told South Wales DC Gerrard Sullivan that he was "at the hard end of the market" and that "tippers are a standing joke with the police and Ministry to be pulled in and checked".
Gen set gains • Genset, which had its licence suspended for a period in March 1990 following convictions for tachograph offences, has obtained renewal of its licence for the full five years.
