County Down driver Gareth Cunningham was fined 1320 with £10 costs for a defective speed limiter and interfering with the tachograph seal. Macclesfield magistrates were told the speed trace indicated the vehicle hail travelled at 100km/h for three hours.

The DTC heard that three prohibition notices had been issued, two for defective speed limiters and one for overloading. Two vehicles had been operated without valid Community Authorisations.
