-IE Coats HIT 6000 lorry and is tyre changer can complete a re change in less than three minutes, according to Narco Wilcomatic.
It has two-way foot pedals operating bead loosening and tyre mounting/removal, a pushpull control stick to control cable pivot from near vertical to horizontal, and a twist control for clamping the tyre.
An hydraulic double bead loosening action, independent of the mount/demount facility, is incorporated in the unit. A pneumatic three jaw chuck is used for wheel clamping and six rpm two-way continuous hydraulic tool rotation allows for fast and simple tyre removal and replacement.
