m A six-month trial by the Highways Agency to help hauliers save money through avoiding motorway troublespots has been launched in and around Bristol.
The Video Information Highway trial, which began on 1 November, aims to deliver data from CCTV camera images direct to road users via local television and radio and the Internet. A spokesperson for Highways Agency says that the scheme help all drivers tackle congestion proble "This will be of particular economic imp tance to haulage comi riles travelling through area."
