GUIDE TO THE RHA NOW AVAILABLE • The Road Haulage Association has produced a colour brochure describing its services to members.
The pamphlet gives details of the 14 functional groups within the RHA, and the types of vehicles they operate, along with contact numbers for the association's seven regional offices.
It also lists membership benefits, including reduced insurance premiums and vehicle recovery fees, and representation at Westminster. For copies of the brochure contact the RHA on 01-736 1183.
OWNER OPERATORS BROCHURE • Owner-Operators, the company established to help small hauliers win discounts on fuel, tyres, insurance and other costs has produced a brochure detailing its actitities.
In the brochure, managing director Robert McHugh explains how owner-operators can gain discounts on diesel bought with the Shell agency card, and cheap rates for roadside assistance in the case of a tyre blowout. McHugh also explains what discounts he is hoping to offer in future in areas such as tachograph analysis, medical insurance and overseas tolls.
