BARRY JENNINGS has become fleet motor transport engineer at British Gas headquarters in London.
He will be responsible for the development of national standards for vehicles and mobile plants, maintenance procedures and workshop operations.
After a career in passenger transport in Bradford, Manchester and Aberdeen, Mr Jennings joined Wallace Arnold Tours as chief engineer. In 1968 he moved to NMU Transport, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rowntree Mackintosh and when it ceased trading in 1980 he joined Rowntree Mackintosh.
