• Huddersfield-based Hoyer UK has ordered nine of LAG's latest PetroLAG triaxled spirit tankers to work on a distribution contract for a major petroleum company. The six-compartment 38,000 litre (plus 5% ullage) semi-trailers weigh 5,780kg complete with pump and ancilliaries.
Although 22.5in wheels are used, the new triple cone, selfsupporting design has a fairly low (1,870mm) centre of gravity and its angular design ensures complete draining, even on inclines.
