A POLICE investigation into a fatal accident involving a Dorset haulage company has led to a series of arrests, A married couple died when Taymix-owned ERF artic hit their car on the A303 in Wiltshire, pushing into the opposite carriageway where it was struck by another car (CM 5 April).
Polish driver Maciej Szczygiecki was arrested for death by dangerous driving; he will appear at Salisbury Crown Court later this month.
Wiltshire and Dorset Police then raided the Pitnperne. Dorset site shared by Taytnix and Translact as well as a number of private addresses in an investigation known as Operation Ravel.
The analysis of recovered items led to six more arrests. Three men and a woman were arrested on 26 July; two men were arrested the following day on suspicion of manslaughter. All six have been released on bail.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman reports: "Police se arch teams are searching domestic premises in Dorset in connection with these further arrests.These arrests are in connection with a fatal road traffic collision on the A303 at Keysley Down on 2 March."
