“THE NEXT time you’re feeling sorry for yourself, just remember: there’s always someone worse off than yourself.” That is what Des O’Connor, boss of Hemel Hempstead-based trailer specialist Trailer Resources, tells me.
His company is supporting the ‘Hope for Hollie’ charity by having special curtains itted to a new tri-axle trailer, in a bid to raise a greater awareness of the almost unheard of Niemann-Pick genetic condition. This is a rare and fatal disease that affects children of a very young age.
The new trailer conveys a crystal clear message – text £1 to help young Holly and her many fellow sufferers. O’Connor invites people to key HFHC75 and text a contribution to 70070.
The next time you’re feeling down in the dumps, just give a little to the Hope for Holly fund.
It’ll give you a great feeling, knowing that you’ve done something good that day.
