A lady of mature age recently boarded a bus in Maida Vale. She was in a very flustered state and had apparently left her home hurriedly, as she still clasped in her hand a somewhat large door key. No sooner was she seated than the conductor came for her fare, and tin a moment of absentmindedness she handed the door key to him.
Other passengers in the vehicle were greatly amused when the conductor remarked: "That ain't no use to me, miss; I don't know where you live."
