• Convictions and a number of missing tachograph charts have led to Aberdeen-based Bucksburn, Davidson & Wilson being given a final warning by Scottish DTC Richard MacFarlane. The company appeared at an Aberdeen disciplinary inquiry
Licence lost
II The licence held by Alexander McLarty, trading as McLarty Contractors, of Crieff, was revoked on grounds of maintenance and finance at a Dundee disciplinary inquiry. Scottish TC Michael Betts also disqualified McLarty from holding or obtaining an 0-licence for six months.
No show
• The licence held by Dorothy Bowman, trading as Northfield Haulage, of Newton Aycliffe, was revoked when she failed to appear at a Teesside disciplinary inquiry before North Eastern DTC Brian Horner. Bowman had been called before the DTC because of concern over vehicle maintenance, convictions, finance and vehicle excise duty.
Noise restriction
• Granting Paynes Farm Dairies authority to base five vehicles and one trailer at Grange Dean Farm, Pe!Ion, Halifax, North Eastern DTC Mark Hinchliffe banned the use of reversing warning hooters and the operation of vehicle refrigeration units before noon. Residents had made representations on environmental grounds.
