week at an incident on the M6. A despatch rider from Pony Express dropped thousands of surgical needles onto the motorway over a 100km stretch from the West Midlands to Cheshire. At least 70 vehicles were punctured in the ensuing chaos.
Thankfully there were no accidents, despite a number of high speed blow-outs.
The rider now faces prosecution, and insurance claims from angry motorists.
