Piacenza, formerly a member of the defunct York group, aims to make a return trip to the UK, and is seeking a trading partner here. It makes a wide range of trailers, including powder tankers, one of which is working in the Waterhouses Garage fleet. Piacenza's latest powder tanker, the Clipper 31 is expected to find its way into our Feldbinder-dominated market. It's a touch heavier than the Feldbinder, but it looks an interesting option, The superbly finished 37m3 tank on show operates at 2 bar and in standard rear-steer triaxle trim weighs 4.90 tonnes.
