CM RECEIVED plaudits at one of Europe's biggest publishing awards ceremonies last week, scooping the Reader Focus trophy for the magazine that best served its readers needs in 2005.
Editor Andy Salter says that the magazine's strategy — supplying hard-hitting news, information and services — has served CM and its readership well.
"Our readers need up-todate information to help them adapt to changing business needs and regulatory obligations," he adds. "Our extensive legal coverage, including 08,4As, legal clinics, features and conferences, together with our vehicle news and roadtests, underline CM's position at the heart of the road transport industry."
The award paid tribute to the number of free supplements and wallcharts CM produces to keep operators legal and profitable every week.
The ceremony was held by Reed Business Information for its stable of business-tobusiness titles and websites at the Hilton Hotel in London.
