IN AN EFFORT to counter the trend of increasing imports ft Taiwan, the Solihull-based Whale Tankers Ltd have sold the British sewer-jetting Combination tanker to Chung-Ho, one of island's principal cities.
The unit is a fully equipped gully emptier with additional full-s( jetting. Its medium-volume jetting pump output of 127 litres/mil 117 bars (28 gal/min at 1,700psi) is designed for work in sewers o. to 0.5m (18in) diameter.
Clean water for jetting is carried in a 2,724 litre (600 gal) hydr4 filled compartment at the front of the tank. While gully emptyinc jetting, sludge is drawn by vacuum into its second 2,724-litre ( gal) compartment at the rear of the tank.
