THE Department of Transport has published a draft Traffic Regulation Order to prohibit heavy lorries over 5 tons unladen weight from using the northern end of the A58 trunk road between the A659 and the Al at Wetherby. The proposed experiment will be conducted in conjunction with the West Yorkshire County Council.
The southern end of the A58 within the Leeds Outer Ring Road (A6120), is the subject of a similar proposed experimental Order by the County Council.
