THE GLC's proposed by-pass for Hayes and Southall in West London has received strong support from Movement for London.
The campaign group believes the £57m road scheme will relieve pressure on a notorious bottleneck and save motorists millions of pounds in travel costs as well as cutting the number of accidents in this area.

She told Chelmsford Tory MP Norman St John Stevas that she would try to give him a Christmas present when she announced the decision.
