ULSTERBUS is currently compiling a report to the financially stricken Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway Company bus fleet to suggest ways in which its financial position and services may be improved.
Rumours of a takeover by either Coras lompair Eireann or Ulsterbus were denied this week by a company spokesman, and over the past months there have reportedly been two takeover bids for the company, one of which was said to be withdrawn and the other, from a Londonbased Donegal businessman, rejected.
The company's workforce is said to be satisfied with its present working conditions but uncertain about the future with L & LS R.
