• In a dawn operation at Ipswich thieves have escaped with a 12m trailer loaded with paper goods after hitching it up to their own tractor unit.
The Crane Fruehauf trailer, chassis number 7832/1. was seen outside a building on the Ransomes industrial estate at 5am, but had gone by 6.15am, Last week, Reeve and Wright (Anglia) Ltd, which lost the load, said, "All told, it's probably a 210,000 loss. It really looks like a professional job."
The trailer's load included lavatory rolls and kitchen rolls.
