CARLISLE City Council is to consider a recommendation to drop its appeal against an application to reduce services run by Ribble.
In May the Traffic Commissioners gave Ribble permission to cut its Sunday services from half-hourly to hourly and the evening frequency from quarter to half an hour.
The council's public works committee was told that to attend the hearing of the appeal would cost £150 — but the Town Clerk had received no complaints from the public.
