FROM this week CM is being published in a larger format which we hope will not only prove easier to read but will enable us to produce the journal more quickly and thus eliminate the pockets of late delivery which have persisted in the past. The quicker production comes mainly from a different style of binding, which has also enabled us to keep an inevitable increase in price to only 2p. This increase, which takes effect with this issue, has been made necessary by a build-up of cost increases over the past year.
There will be no decrease in the quality of CM's contents— in fact we have some valuable special features, in colour and black and white, scheduled for forthcoming issues. All the popular regular items will be continued and there will be no slackening in the publication of special features, road tests and information about new vehicles and equipment.
Our aim is to make Britain's most authoritative and biggest selling road transport journal brighter, easier to read—and punctual everywhere.
CM can be obtained through a postal subscription on an annual basis (see page 5), though with the present standard of postal services we recommend new readers to place a regular order with their local newsagent.
