• Lex Transfleet has won a £4rn three-year contract to service and maintain Thames Water's Fleet of 1,000 CVs. The contract, with the option of an extra two years, was won over six other bidders.
• Beck and Pollitzer, part of the Transport and Development Group, has won a £3m/two-year distribution and warehousing contract with houseware manufacturer Prestige.
• The Lane Group has secured two distribution contracts worth more than £2m with Mainetti UK— manufacturers of boxed garment hangers—and aluminium product manufacturer Kawneer UK. Both operations were in-house.
• TNT Logistics has won a five-year warehousing and distribution agreement with braking system manufacturer Knorr Bremse. TNT will handle operations at the Knorr Bremse Bristol plant.
• Harris Logistics, TDG's retail, food and drinks logistics specialist, has won a five-year contract with the pharmaceutical and haemodialysis division of Fresenius Healthcare UK to deliver health products to hospitals and pharmaceutical wholesalers in Scotland.
• Universal Office Supplies has a 12-month initial contract with Post Office Counters to distribute and store Post Shop products. The work was handled in-house; final deliveries will still be by Parcelforce.
