4200,000 OF GUY IN ONE WEEK: Guy Motors Ltd. received orders for goods chassis during the third week of November to a total value of more than £200,000. Largest single order was for 29 11-ft.wheelbase, double-drive Warrior six-wheelers for mounting with concrete-mixing equipment, 24 of the chassis being fitted with 400S engines and the remaining five with A.E.C. engines. The orders also include 23 Big J chassis for T. W. Walker Ltd.. Guy distributors of Thornaby-on-Tees, comprising four-, sixand eight-wheelers, all (apart from an A.E.C.-powered fourwheeler) fitted with Cummins V6 engines.
SCAMMELL SEMI TRAILERS FOR B.R.S.: British Road Services Juts ordered 100 Scammell 10-ton, 23-ft-long semi-trailers, to be fitted with Mil-type coupling gear and special rear bumper equipment.
MORE LEYLAND BUSES: More contracts have been placed for Leyland buses during the past two weeks, amounting to a value of £200.000.
