Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Smile dealership West Pennine Trucks has hit upon the novel idea of using YouTube to help market the used trucks that it stocks (www.youtube. com(userANPTrucks).

"We refer to it as West Pennine Trucks TV, and one of the big plus points is that it costs us nothing at all," reveals Stuart Wolstenholme, used truck sales manager at the firm's Middleton, Manchester depot, who hit on the idea.

It is not the first time he has produced his own videos. He's filmed mountain biking events while riding with a camera mounted on his helmet and put the results on his own web site. When he had a major influx of ex-fleet Scanias and Dafs to dispose of 12 months ago, he put them on a DVD and mailed it out to 300 Scania and Oaf operators.

So is the YouTube initiative working?

At the time of writing, it had only received 25 hits, but Wolstenholme is optimistic that will increase. A video he put together about the Scania R Series, that appeared on his own website, received several thousand hits.

His view is that anything that gets West Pennine noticed has to be worth trying in what is a very tough market.
