• Following the announcement that Doughty Trailers are again to be produced (CM April 9), a tandem-axle two-member tipper chassis has been supplied to A. H. Gore and Co. Ltd, Bristol, by Doughty Trailer Sales Ltd. The chassis will be fitted with a light-alloy body by Pengco (Transport Systems) and the unit will operate at 28 tons gvw.
Further orders for other trailers are at present in hand including a step frame trailer principally for hauling large yachts but fitted with twist locks for a 20ft ISO container.
