Developed for modem automotive finishers, a high-speed paint stripper that strips multi-coat systems from the primer up in one application has been developed by Tak Chemicals Ltd. It is said that the surface is left waxand residue-free ready for drying and repainting after the completely stripped surface has been rinsed with water.
Cellulose or other low-cost thinners may be used instead of water. Being a non-drip agent, it is easy and safe to use. It is claimed to have greater consistency than other strippers and that this increases its effectiveness on vertical surfaces. It is available in 4-by-1gal packs or in 1gal containers. Made by: Tak Chemicals Ltd, Hayes Lane, Stourbridge, Worcestershire.
