WHEN Mr. E. A. Padgett, assistant VV traffic manager of Trent Motor Traction Co., Ltd., admitted at a hearing of the Fast Midland Licensing Authority at West Bridgford, on Monday, that he had given wrong answers at a previous hearing, the application being made was adjourned.
Trent and Midland General Omnibus Co., Ltd., had applied to extend their Leicester-Loughborough route by 600 yd. from Pack Horse Lane to The Rushes, Loughborough. Mr. A. C. G. Rothera, presenting the application, said that passengers wanting to travel from Loughborough to Blackpool had to walk this distance to catch another bus.

N"traffic regulations in Leicester, which are designed to relieve congestion in the city centre, came into operation this week.
