• Wigan Magistrates adjourned sentence For a month after Merseyside haulier Paula Fenney admitted a series of offences including using insurance certificates with intent to deceive.
Fenney, who trades as P&S Haulage, of Earle Street, Newton le Willows, pleaded guilty to two offences of using an insurance certificate with intent to deceive; three offences of causing drivers to fail to use tachograohs in accordance with the regulations; three offences of using vehicles without insurance; Iwo offences of using vehicles when o higher rate of vehicle excise duty was payable; and one offence of using a vehicle without an excise licence. She pleaded not guilty to two offences of using vehicles without an 0-licence.
The magistrates adjourned the case for the preparation of pre-sentence reports; Fenney was given unconditional bail.
