• Suffolk-based container haulier Goodway has been named as the most "commercially aggressive company" in the road haulage industry, according to analysts Plimsoll Publishing.
Plimsoll identifies Nightfreight, TNT, Goodway, Wiltshire-based Rygor Group and another Felixstowe firm, Loadwell Transport, as the five firms with the fastest growing sales for the period 1995-1996.
With a sales growth of 91%, Goodway came top of the league by some way, with TNT Europe second at 53".. The average sales growth in Plimsoll's latest analysis was found to be just 8%.
The five most commercially aggressive companies in the commercial vehicle sector identified by Plimsoll were: MudieBond, Mayflower Corporation, Rygor Commercials, Lawrence David and Boalloy Industries.
