MY NAME IS Dan Furber. I’m 23 and have been trying to get the money together to put myself through my Class 1 and 2 licences for the last 18 months. But, sadly, I’m pretty much at begging point now – so here goes nothing.

I live in Buckinghamshire, have obtained my theory test, aced my medical and have a provisional licence. What I’m looking for is a haulage company to put me through the tests. I know times are hard but I’d love nothing more than to be behind the wheel of a nice wagon cruising up the motorway. I don’t care about nights out and I don’t care about doing overtime.
