IDEPENDENT coach operators
three areas of Britain have ined together to produce a tries of summer holiday exended tour brochures. The perators, Applebys of Louth, ncolnshire, Skills of Nottingism and Tappins of Didcot have roduced brochures which they aim are comparable to any on .avel agents shelves.
The brochures feature similar Dlour pictures and artwork but Dritain individual operator itinraries and identities.
By combining in this way the perators are able to buy a large nough volume of brochures to -rake the professionally prouced booklets economic to roduce and to give each perator its local identity. The 982 brochures were printed in :aly.
The operators are keen to in rease volumes to reduce proluction costs still further and lope to be joined by more iperators in 1983. The main reluirements of the scheme are hat each operator has a similar our programme but does not rade in any of the other )perator's catchment areas.
