• A new five-digit mechanical access detection unit, with semi-trailer and trailer applications, has been introduced by OEM Group. Called SecuReSeal, the system has been designed to meet the requirements of B52011 Part 2.1 to withstand shock, vibration, bump, drop, vacuum and salt mist. It has many cost and administrative advantages over existing disposable seals, or similar battery-powered electronic units, says the manufacturer.
SecuReSeal self generates a five-digit security code each time it is operated, requires no power supply and incorporates a mechanical random number generator with more than 100,000 cycles.
The unit has an easy-to-read magnified display, is simple to operate and has been tested for a period equivalent to 15 years of normal use.
It is intended to last at least the lifetime of the trailer at
operating temperatures between minus 50°C and 110°C.
SecuReSeal is sealed in a heavy steel tamper-proof case. Contact. 0181 805 6288.
