THE Transport Users' Consultative Committees for the north-west and north-east have been reconstituted for third terms of office. New members of the north-eastern T.U.C.C., the chairman of which is Mr. J. R. Ropner, are Mr. G. Clark, Dr. H. E, North, Mr. J. Bell, Co. CHI% T. Willis, Cfir. C. J. Tretnewan, Aid. J. A. Hutchison and Mr: A. R. Dunbar.
Mr. Clark is divisional marketing officer (transport) of the National Coal Board, and Dr. North distribution manager of I.C.I.. Ltd. Co. Cllr. Willis is chairman of Durham County Highways Committee.
Sir P at rick 0. 'Hamilton :has succeeded Sir Walker Shepherd as chairman of the north-western Committee. Sir Patrick is a director of Simon-Carves, Ltd., and other concerns. New members are Mr. S. J. Morrison. Mr. G. W. Harker, Co. Aid. H. Howard Robinson, Cllr. C. S. McRonald and Aid. H. H. Baird.
Mr. Morrison is transport officer of Barrow 'Fol.:works, Ltd., and a member of the transport committee of the British Iron and Steel Federation. Co. Aid. Robinson is a member of Cheshire Roads Committee and a transport consultant and traffic-court advocate. Cllr. MeRonald is chairman of Birkenhead Transport Committee, and Aid. Baird chairman of Bootle Transport Committee.
