iii I would like the opportunity to correct an innaccurate statement in your report about Volvo Bus's plans for the Olympian double-decker (CM 27 Feb-4 March).
There are no engineering difficulties in the installation of Cummins Eurol-certified 1.10 engines in the Olympian doubler-decker.
We are mystified as to why the comment was made, since changes to the engines, to meet Euro 1 for the domestic market, are minimal. The Cummins L10 is fundamentally a low-emission engine, Roger Wilsdon General manager, OEM Marketing, Cummins Engine Company, New Malden, Surrey.
