• Mr Jack Jones, TGWU secretary, appears to have a "blacking" backlash on his hands if his union's container lorry driver members pursue current moves to take concerted unofficial action to boycott docks where discrimination is being practised.
There have already been meetings and discussions among drivers generally who are concerned that those of their colleagues whose vehicles are "blacked" are thereby suffering cuts in earnings.
