Bonallack Eurovan venture
• As part of a European expansion plan, Pitt Trailers of Wigan announce ajoint venture with Freight-Bonallack for a new range of trailer vans.
Known as the Eurovan range, the basic construction consists of a Freight-Bonallack body on any of the Pitt range of trailer chassis.
Aluminium alloy sections are used for side pillars and cant rails, and the rear door frame is made from tubular steel sections. The roof is constructed from 20g alloy sheet to NS 4 half-hard specification and the side panelling is swaged at 24-in. centres. A feature is the 2ft flat centre portion which is incorporated specifically to provide a facility for signwriting.
The van is available in lengths from 26 to 40ft and the options include various door and interior fixing permutations. These include double doors, roller shutters, plywood lining and alloy tying rails. Two finishes are available for the bodywork, natural or prepainted. The chassis is finished in grey primer.
The new product will be marketed by both the Pitt and Freight-Bonallack sales organizations.
