• Purle Waste Disposal (Scotland) Ltd. of Giffnock, with operating centre at Glasgow, failed to appear at a public inquiry in Glasgow on Monday and its application to vary an existing B licence by the addition of an Eq--ton dump truck was dismissed by Mr. H. R. Aylmer, the Scottish deputy LA.
Time was allowed to permit an appearance but when the applicant failed to reply to the second calling the LA ruled that the application be dismissed.
