)LLOWING the introduction of pvc eyelets for TIR covers and )en-top container covers, Carmo Plastics of Chelmsford designed improved tension-tab anchor.
Claimed improvements over types now commonly in use first give flusher-fitting TIR cover, held by tight and straight tabs. The design said to eliminate fatigue damage, as the tensioned tab is always )rtical along its whole length.
The anchor will take either shock cord or rubber tensioners, and its ick-bolt fitting can be weather-protected by the same Carmo )Iypropylene shrouds used on huck-bolted strap anchors. The shuds prevent rusting of the metal bolt component and improve hicle appearance.
