The Liftec LD/10 is an hydraulically elevated platform mounted on a battery-driven pedestrian-controlled truck incorporating a built-in battery charger, and it is built by Liftec Engineering.
Suitable for reaching roadside lamps, for instance, the LD /10 offers a working height of 6.1 metres with a safe working load of 2001b. The boom elevates the platform in an almost vertical path using a single hydraulic ram which is self acting. The platform is mechanically levelled as it is raised.
The booms are mounted on a base sub-frame chassis which has four corner Jacks for rigid support.
The chassis is a pedestriancontrolled unit having a conventional steering tiller handle with brake and trigger switch. The complete vehicle measures in a closed position 3.55m long, 73.66cm wide and 1.98m high.
