THE FIRST Alexander-bodied Metro-Cammell Weymann Metrobus is being handed over to Scottish Bus Group's Alexander (Midland) fleet on Easter Monday.
The 13ft 10in semilowheight vehicle is fitted with a four-bay construction body designed especially to match the model's outriggers, but is otherwise similar in appearance to two Denis Dominator double-decks built for SBG and National Bus.
It will operate in company with two similar vehicles on a series of commuter services in the Glasgow area.
