MEANWHILE, Dutch supporters of the MUSA collection of city and intercity buses are resotring several vehicles of makes with famous pasts. The oldest is a 1940 Kromhout with two-door forward-control body, used in Amsterdam until 1968. Others include Werkspoor and Verheul buses.
MUSA aims to keep all the vehicles roadworthy. Buses from the collection last year completed more than 6,300 miles on special excursions and film work.
