KENT-MOORE UK has added to its range of diesel engine servicE equipment the KM4016 CO2 leak tester.
To check for leaks between combustion chamber and cooling system, this device will determine the presence of carbon dioxide gas in the cooling system. Combustion gases, which enter the cooling system through a leak, will acummulate in the air cushion above the radiator water level.
When this air is then analysed, the blue fluid will indicate the presence of CO2 gas by
changing colour to yellow. Its double-chamber system prevents an incorrect indication by filtering out alkaline particles in its first chamber. This tester distinguishes between troublefree, minor and acute leaks.
The kit is supplied in a wooden storage box, which also contains the non-toxic, non-flammable and re-usable test fluid.
