Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Transport and General Workers Union is taking its anti-cabotage campaign (CM 9-15 July) onto the streets with its latest truck stickers. Following the adoption of a motion to oppose cabotage in its current form at the union's biennial delegate conference, the Commercial Road Transport Group of the TGWU is stepping up its fight.

It will shortly be sending supplies of its truck stickers, along with posters, to all its regions for distribution. Commercial Road Transport Group secretary Jack Ashwell has also written to the secretary of the Parliamentary Labour Party group of TGWUsponsored MPs calling for a meeting to brief them, so questions on cabotage can be raised in Parliament. Ashwell says he will be contacting the Road Haulage Association in a bid to get its backing.

The North West Commercial Road Transport section of the TGWU is planning another anti-cabotage meeting on 20 September which will be held in Manchester town hall.
