-4411 Renault's Premium cab was launched in 1996, helping the French manufacturer recapture lost _ ground. Along with its smaller brother used on the Midlum range, this cab has become one of the world's most successful shared units.
The takeover by Volvo in 2001 led first to the Premium cab appearing on Volvo's VM range in Brazil, with the FE and FL models following suit in Europe. In 2001 the cab was launched on the Daf LF range, while the Paccar connection meant it was used on Kenworth and Peterbilt distribution trucks.
The Premium-cabbed Mack Qantum (pictured) was a full-blooded Australian model built in Queensland, and Sisu took advantage of the Renault cab for its heavy-duty range of construction and forestry vehicles. In recent years the cab has been used by Kraz and Dongfeng Liuzhou of China for their Belong and Chenglong ranges.
