Transport Association is to hold a conference at Bournemouth from October 11 to October 13 this year.
Although there will be a full business programme it is hoped that many ladies will attend. A dinner-dance will be arranged for Friday evening, October 12, and other arrangements made for the ladies on Friday and Saturday mornings.
l'he business papers will cover matters of practical and direct interest to C licence transport managers and other operators. Numbers are to be limited for this first conference to 160, and members who wish to attend are asked to get in touch with the London Divisional office at 1-11 Hay Hill, W.1, without delay.
Papers are to be given on subjects from this list: Road transport in Europe: (a) the Common Market and Road Transport Policy; (b) practical operating problems_ Vehicle Construction and Operational Problems.
