has been announced by the West German coachbuilders, Vetters of Stuttgart.
There is room in the high top vehicle for 12 seated passengers and 10 standees. Using the Perkins 4.165 diesel engine, which has an output of 52kW (70bhp), the minibus produces a claimed fuel consumption of 12 lit/100km (23.5 mpg).
Two models are available, one for the normal town or city bus work and the other for hire to clubs or associations. Both vehicles have a rear loading door and the general services model has a side sliding door and upholstered seats. Deansgate also has a psv conversion of the Volkswagen LT. First shown at the Brighton coach rally, it is now in production.
Based on the LT28 it has twin rear wheels and can accommodate twelve passengers, plus the driver. A section to accommodate luggage has been built on the inside at the N/S front.
The Audi-based two-litre petrol engine or a Perkins diesel may be specified, and the vehicles will be supplied through VW Truck dealers.
