NEWARK-BASED Male Row land Transport has gone into voluntary liquidation, leading to the loss of 30 jobs. Edwin Kirkwood from Leedsbased liquidator EJK Associates, which has taken control of the firm's finances, says: "The firm closed its doors on 21 April after it failed to pay its debts. "We are investigating what caused this," he adds. "A creditors'

Household Removals before changing its name to Male Rowland Transport in 1990. It became a limited company in 2000. The firm ran a fleet of artics and rigids from its yard at Bil sthorpe carrying out both local and distance work. It was a recent cover star in CM'S sister
magazine Truck & Driver.
