GREGORY DISTRIBUTION has hand-picked five West Country-based athletes to support on their quest to make it to the 2012 Olympic Games.
World-champion swimmer Liam Tancock, Olympic modern pentathlon silver medallist Heather Fell. world-champion windsurfer Nick Dempsey, UK 800m champion Jemma Simpson and the UK champion pistol shooter Gorgs Geikie make up Team Gregory and now feature on the side of several of Gregory's trailers (pictured). "We are a West Country business with roots that go deep across the region We wanted to support West Country-born or based individual athletes to realise their sporting ambitions," explains chief executive John Gregory.
"Our aim is to get everyone in the region, as well as all our employees, suppliers and customers, right behind Team Gregory and to create a groundswell of support for them, which they feel they can take into the competitive arena."

The deal, valued at more titan £4m, cements a relationship between the two businesses that dates back to the early 1990s.
It sees two ATS Euromaster technicians working full-time at Gregory Distribution centres at Cullompton and North Tawton in Devon.
