ACCORDING TO a recent RAC poll, tailgaters are the scariest drivers. I would challenge that theory when driving a top-weight vehicle at legal speeds.
What scares me the most is that after being overtaken by a vehicle the driver takes great delight in cutting in front and leaving very little or even no driving room.
low scary is that?
These same drivers usually leave it far too late to join the correct lane, and then when they have done this dangerous manoeuvre they slam on their brakes, causing even more danger.
There really should be someone in authority targeting this behaviour. This is common to all sorts of drivers, but the worst of all are HGV cowboys. Keith Steele Worcester
